WorkRiders is the only Cycling to Work programme supported by the Association of Cycle Traders.
Working with the leading UK trade organisation, representing the interests of c.2500 specialist retailers, we believe we offer the widest possible choice and provide the most efficient service to deliver tax free cycling to work.
WorkRiders provides administration of the Cycle To Work program, launched by the Government in 1998. Since that time tens of thousands of PAYE employees across the UK have enjoyed a healthier lifestyle, saved on petrol, and helped the environment through this unique scheme.
The WorkRiders programme operates in full accordance with the obligations of DfT, OFT and HMRC. This simple, easy to use web based solution, provides Employers and Employee’s a service minimising administration, paperwork and delays directed to give the cyclist the best possible deal on their chosen bike and equipment.
WorkRiders is the only Cycle To Work provider endorsed by the ACT, the trade body representing local bike shops.
The WorkRiders Process
- Employers register their company online: Fast, Simple, Efficient
- Employee’s confirm their interest and join the WorkRiders programme online: Easy, Clear, Informative
- The Employer will confirm a purchase limit for each employee online.
- The Employee will automatically be sent a personal WorkRiders purchase card, valid for use at any WorkRiders Authorised Retailer
- At the retailer they can choose any bike and safety equipment they wish, pay with the WorkRiders card and ride away!
